An 87-year-old former postman has been proven to have fathered over 1,300 illegitimate children after a private investigator hired by a Tennessee family discovered the shocking truth.
The investigation that has gathered thousands of DNA samples and testimonies over a 15-year period ultimately proves the man is the father to literally thousands of illegitimate children in the region.
“Contraception wasn’t very popular in those days,” he told local reporters in his defense. “I have nothing to be ashamed of. The 60s were the good old days and I did a great Johnny Cash impression which played out real good with the ladies,” he explained. “Some even thought I was Johnny Cash for real,” he recalls laughingly. “I don’t know if they really believed it or if they were trying to convince themselves, but who was I to say no to a quickie?” he acknowledged.
Author Anthony Kendall has teamed up with private investigator Sid Roy and will publish the results of the 15-year investigation next fall in an upcoming book
Unraveling the truth
Private investigator Sid Roy never could have imagined a simple gig would end up in a 15-year quest for the truth.
“It all started in 2001 when two different men that had nothing to do with each other hired me to find their biological father. I was astounded after further investigation to realize they both originated from the same person. That is when the mystery started unraveling and it became a personal mission of mine, whenever I had some free time, I’d try and track down other testimonies. Eventually, DNA testing became really cheap and easy to use and helped me gather a lot of information in the latest years,” he acknowledges.
No lawsuit in sight
The private investigator says the children of the old man don’t intend to pursue any lawsuit against the old man.
“Most people who are aware of the truth don’t want this information to get out and have given anonymous testimonies,” he explains. “The truth unleashed could break up hundreds or more families and that’s definitely not the point of all these years of research. All I know is that most people are glad to know the truth and don’t bear any grudge against the old man, I guess it was a more common practice in those days,” he acknowledges.
Although DNA testing and testimonies point out to over 1,300 illegitimate children fathered by the retired postman, Sid Roy believes there could be many more. “I’ve spent 15 years of my own personal time into this, I think it’s enough,” he admits. “But my research clearly shows there could be many more children,” he told local reporters, although he declined to comment if the numbers were in the hundreds or thousands more.

Many immigrants who reside in America who file for their relatives are often required to provide proof of biological evidence to USCIS or Embassy during the their filing process. The process can be a long one if one or all parties are in their home country. If all parties are here in the states, then the process will be much shorter.
Below are some of the things you can expect to experience going through the Immigration DNA Testing process.
First, you must find a lab that provides this service. There are only 40 labs in the world that provide Immigration DNA Testing.
Second, make sure that you have all of your paperwork that specifically requests you to perform DNA Testing. Many families attempt to start the DNA Testing process without a USCIS/Embassy request. If you decide to so, please keep in mind there is a strong possibility that your family’s sample may not be collected if they are abroad. You will also run the risk of losing out on money if you choose this option.
For families who have all of their members here in the states, they need to keep in mind that paperwork is also needed because the lab will not know where to send their results. Immigration has many departments it is not the lab’s responsibility to figure out the destination of your results.
Third, make sure the lab has the proper accreditation. Only labs that are accredited by the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) are recognized by USCIS and Embassies. Therefore your results will only be accepted by this type of lab.
Four, turnaround times for results will differ from country to country. There are no definite time tables for international cases. But, if all parties are her in the states, families can expect to have a their results in 2-3 business days from the time the lab receives all of the parties samples.
Five, upon completion of the results it is important to note, that a copy of your results will be sent to the petitioner and another copy will be sent to the requesting Immigration institution (USCIS/Embassy).

A DNA paternity test is the only reliable means by which to establish the biological relationship between two or more people. Through this test can be confirmed links paternity, maternity or sorority.
What is a paternity test?
A paternity test is a DNA test that determines whether or not a man is the biological father of a child. We all inherit our DNA (genetic material) from our biological parents. A paternity test compares the DNA pattern of a child with the alleged father, confirming or rejecting this biological relationship.
The results of the paternity test can be only two:
Exclusion: The alleged father is not the biological father.
Inclusion: The alleged father is considered the biological father.
Using a standard paternity test, a guaranteed level of accuracy in the results of 99.9% in the case of inclusions (SI confirmation is the biological father) or 100% accuracy in results Exclusion (confirmation that is not the biological father )
Guarantee an exact result
Switzerland currently represents Lab genetic laboratory services worldwide. Thanks to this strategic business relationship Switzerland Lab has managed to introduce in Peru DNA paternity tests that are accurate, confidential, secure and inexpensive.
How does a DNA Paternity Test work?
A DNA paternity test compares the genetic markers of two or more people. Our analysis of DNA analyzes at least 16 specific indicators to check if these biological indicators reflect matches. All this can be accomplished by oral test DNA.
The procedure is very simple. DNA samples are extracted by rubbing a cheek swab against the inside of the patient’s cheeks. A buccal swab is similar to a common hyssop, but longer and resistant. By rubbing the swab against the inside of the cheek cell DNA is collected. After rubbing the inside of the mouth, the DNA sample is impregnated cotton swab. This has become the standard method of sampling for DNA tests to be highly reliable and painless. Whereas DNA pattern is the same in all cells of the body, the results of the tests are the same ones that had been obtained from another biological source. To avoid that the amount of cells in a sample is insufficient, our laboratory requires each provide two patient samples buccal swabs DNA.
Once extracted samples, swabs should be dried for at least 30 minutes.
Once completed the analysis, it will be communicated to customers.
Most Frequently Asked Questions:
What is the difference between IDTO and other DNA testing companies offering paternity tests?
It is important to carefully evaluate companies offering DNA testing, given that the test results can affect a person’s life. It is essential that you ensure that the laboratory will use count corresponding certifications and recognition from international organizations, and to ensure the reliability, accuracy and quality of service.
How accurate are the results of a DNA paternity test?
If the test includes 3 buccal samples (mother, child and alleged father), accuracy will be about 99.9% for inclusions and 100% for paternity exclusion. If the test includes only 2 samples (child and alleged father), accuracy will be about 99.8% for inclusions and 100% for paternity exclusion.
How long does it take to receive my test results?
Usually, it takes about 48-72 hours from the time our lab receives your samples. Once the results are complete, your assigned case worker will contact you and your results will be mailed to you.
In USA, there are over 300,000 cases of controversial paternity filed every year. In a time not too long, blood tests were widely used to determine paternity. While it had some credibility to it to a certain degree, it didn’t prove anything for sure. Fortunately though, DNA testing technology has come a long way since and DNA paternity testing is overwhelmingly being used as the definitive method to rule out doubts over paternity issues.
Understanding the DNA Test Procedure
Each DNA is a combination of 4 letters or bases, A, C, G, and T. This sequence is unique for everyone except for identical twins. The irony is though, everyone’s DNA is 99.9% the same. So the unique feature lies in that tiny 0.01% share. Keeping out the medical jargons, your DNA is comprised of half the DNAs from both your biological parents. That makes your DNA is more than 99.9% the same as both your parents. DNA Paternity testing utilizes this greater similarity technique to ascertain the parentage.
Types and Accuracy of DNA Paternity Testing
Like any other medical test, the results of the DNA Paternity Testing are a near 100% correct.
The DNA Paternity Testing is divided into two categories:
· The exclusion DNA testing
· The inclusion DNA testing
Results derived from exclusion DNA testing are considered 100% accurate. In exclusion paternity test, the DNA from the child is tested directly against that of the biological father. Someone not sharing the matching pair of chromosomes of the DNA with the child will exclude him from paternity.
The inclusion DNA testing is a different story. It will return the likelihood of the paternity of the father in percentage.
The outcome of the DNA Paternity testing is calculated from the number of loci collected from the possible father. Loci is just another fancy name for DNA match points. To get the best possible outcome, it is always advised to conduct the DNA Paternity testing with at least 16 loci.
Reasons for Error
A DNA testing can produce inconclusive or wrong results in any of the following cases:
Human Error: A simple and unfortunate mix up in the DNA samples, or the samples that have been contaminated will produce wrong results.
DNA Mutation: DNA mutation is simply put a change in our DNA. In changed circumstances, the biological father will not share the DNA match point with his child.
Chimerism: Chimerism, although extremely rare, will also result in wrong conclusions.
How Much Does It Cost?
The cost for a DNA Paternity testing in the USA varies from place to place. The depth of the procedure and the purpose it is being conducted for are also important factors that contribute to the overall charge.
There are some places who offer comprehensive DNA testing at a price as low as $79, while it can go as high as $2000 in others.
How Soon Can You Get the Results?
Again, it varies, depending on the purpose, time and place you are seeking for DNA testing. The fastest being 1-2 days, while the less fortunate bearing 3-12 weeks or longer for results
